Overview:
Fulcrum Lending is looking for two Front End Engineers to join our team and help support our rapidly expanding suite of web applications.
You’ll work closely with our designers, backend engineers, and product managers, with a direct impact in the products you’ll be building. We are a small distributed team and rely heavily on effective communication and autonomy in order to build, iterate, and ship rapidly.
What you'll be working on:
- Build modular, readable web apps using React testing everything you build with Jest and Cypress
- Resolve bug fixes and support feature requests from our partners
- Refactor or improve existing code
- Review teammates’ pull requests
- Create Views and React Components that are reusable and efficient
- Collaborate with the whole engineering team including product and design
- Help establish engineering process, tools, and systems that will allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team
What we're looking for:
- 4+ years experience building JavaScript applications
- 2+ years of professional experience with React and Typescript
- A good understanding of CSS, modular patterns, and responsive web
- A deep understanding of and experience in using APIs and REST
- Knowledge of testing best practices using Jest and Cypress
- Self-sufficiency in managing work to meet goals and deadlines
- You love designing snappy, pixel-perfect interfaces
- Excellent English communication and the ability to effectively explain technical concepts in a clear and concise way
Bonus Points
- Experience working on apps that have reached 1M+ users
- Proficiency with React v16+
- Passion for, or curiosity to learn, commercial real estate and financial technology
